USB Exception with R/W option.

So currently Desktop Authority has USB Security, and for USB Drives has Read, Write and Deny, regarding all USB Drives. You can currently make an exception with a USB Hardware ID, yet it allows read and write. I would Like to be able to specify what permissions to give the exceptions instead of a all or nothing exception.

  • This sounds similar to how fine-tuned control works in media tools — just like setting specific access with USB exceptions, users should also have flexibility when managing addons or permissions. When configuring streaming setups, tools like Torrentio download give users the ability to customize sources and filters — something USB policies could really benefit from too.
