Can data be deleted from the Shared Data Location?

My Shared Data Location folder has reached its limit and needs to be purged. What can be deleted from that folder without affecting the product or discovered data?

    Hello,

    For some discoveries, Enterprise Reporter uses the data in the Shared Data Location to help reduce queries directly to the SQL server. Depending on the load/specs of the SQL server, network configuration, closeness of the nodes to the SQL server, and other factors, this can be a performance benefit. That being said, the use of the Shared Data Location is also optional. If not configured, or if ER node requested data is not in the Share, ER will access the SQL server and will continue as per normal. Any data can be cleaned at any time, however, it is best to not remove files when any discoveries are running.
