User Profile Information - Last Use

What is being captured/displayed with the Last Use (Profile Information) field?

I have a report that is showing a value from last week for a user account that has been disabled for over a year. What would be causing the Last Use value to be updated for this user's profile?

Something processing the profile like endpoint protection (virus scan) and/or Quest's resource update manager agent?
