Disk Space VDI on Hyper-v

Hi,

we are running vWorkspace VDI on top of Hyper-v hosts, I would like to run a daily/weekly reports that will provide me full dashboard of all the VMs are having less disk space.

can anyone help please?

Regards,

  • Hi Helpdesk,

What cartridges are you using to monitor your environment? is it Hyper-V?
If so, can you see the VMs information in Foglight?
If that is the case, you could build a custom report

    • Drag and Drop Hyper-V Virtual Machines to your report.
    • Select Create a table

    • Select the metrics to display. The highlighted one will display space used and available.
      • storage/spaceUsed
      • storage/spaceAvailable
    • Add other metrics as desired.

    •  Adding a filter to display the top X Virtual machines with less available space might make the report easier to read.

    I hope this helps,

    Gaston.

  • Hi Gaston,
highly appreciated your rely, I have tried your suggestion and I found that it fetch some of the servers, but most of other VMs (vWorkspace VDI) hosted on Hyper-v are not showing...
