Addressing Abnormal Page In / Page Out Rates

We just got Hyper-V monitoring setup and I'm seeing some Abnormal Page In and Page Out rates on my Hyper-V host servers. Can anyone recommend some links that might go into addressing and / or resolving these alarms? Not sure what the best practice is in this case.

They are in the Infrastructure cartridge and they're called Page In Rate and Page Out Rate.

I would like know what specifically are you using Infra cart to monitor on Hyper-V servers because ideally Hyper-V is the only cart/agents you will need to monitor your Hyper-V environment.

Thanks for the note back on my question, Prasad. We actually didn't configure the Infrastructure cartridge, it must have been installed / setup by Quest who helped us with the Hyper-v installation.

Hello Sandy,

IC cartridge rule will not trigger an alarm unless there is an IC agent monitoring your Hyper-V server. That's the reason for the question in my previous reply. Anyway, we can take a look during our next webex meeting.
