Is it possible to run SQL Server/ Oracle DB reports simultaneously for multiple DB instances rather then running for individual instances?

Customer has large DB setup more then 75 Oracle & SQL Server instances, they want to execute health check up and other reports simultaneously for multiple instances rather then running the reports for individual DB instances which is very time consuming and does not meet their requirements. Please advise.

Hello Yusuf,

there are cross instance reports available (Oracle + SQL Server). But you need to be aware that those reports are resource intensive.

To find the reports, click on the"Reports" lefthand side under Dashboards and then click on "Run a Report". In the popup window select "All SQL Templates" or "All Oracle Templates", when you filter for "Cross Instances" you will get all available reports. See screenshot below.

  Thank you for your response, I'm familiar with Foglight report templates, however these reports can be run only for single/ one DB instance at a time and are not very user friendly for customer's who have a large DB environment and are looking to execute reports for multiple DB instances at the same time. Looking for an option or a work around option that gives customers flexibility to execute reports for multiple database instances at the same time.

    in that case you can check if the DB Expansion Pack provides the reports you need. You can get it from here:

    The pack contains additonal dashboards + reports which were created by our PSO team and are based on customers requests they picked up from the field.
