Repository freezes when opened in Repository viewer

Hi,

I need to know what can be the reason behind Repository gets freeze when we try to open it in Repository viewer. The account has proper NTFS and Shared permission set on Repository folder, I can access the Repository files from Repo server. I need to know how this can be dealt with.

    What do you mean by "gets freeze"?  Does the Repository Viewer itself stop working?  Or, do you otherwise lose access to your Repository files (like a file lock)?  To explain my question about the I file lock:  you say that you can access the files from the Repo server but are you saying that if you are trying to access the files directly from elsewhere that you cannot?
