Hello everyone,
I’ve recently started running Quest software on a system powered by Intel vPro technology and have encountered a few challenges. The software sometimes crashes unexpectedly or runs slower than anticipated. Additionally, certain features appear to conflict with the system’s built-in security protocols, which might be related to Intel vPro settings.
I’m reaching out to see if anyone has faced similar issues or has insights into troubleshooting. Specifically, I’d like advice on the following:
- Intel vPro Settings: Are there specific configurations in Intel vPro that I should enable or disable to ensure compatibility with Quest software?
- Firmware and Driver Updates: Could outdated firmware or drivers for Intel vPro components like the AMT (Active Management Technology) cause software instability? If so, how often should these be updated?
- Performance Optimization: What are the best practices for optimizing system performance to run Quest software smoothly on vPro-enabled systems?
- BIOS and Power Settings: Are there recommended BIOS configurations or power management adjustments to enhance stability and performance?
I’ve tried reinstalling the software and updating drivers, but the issues persist. If anyone has resolved similar problems, I’d appreciate it if you could share your solutions or point me toward any useful resources.
Thanks in advance for your help—I’m looking forward to hearing your suggestions!
