Does Quest Toad run smoothly on a Core i3 system?

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to use Quest Toad for SQL Server and possibly for Oracle as part of my daily database tasks. I currently have access to a core i3 laptop. I’m mainly involved in writing complex queries, checking performance stats, and managing database connections, so I want to make sure the system can handle that efficiently.

Has anyone here used Toad tools on a core i3 laptop? I’d like to know if there are any noticeable slowdowns or limitations when running features like the SQL Optimizer, schema comparisons, or large dataset exports. I know Toad is powerful, but I’m unsure how much processing power it demands on a daily basis.

If you’ve had good or bad experiences running Quest Toad on a core i3 laptop, I’d really appreciate your input. Any tips on optimizing performance or whether it's worth upgrading to a higher-tier system would also be helpful. Thanks!
