Anyone here use a small body pillow to reduce back strain while coding?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been spending a lot of time coding lately—sometimes for hours without realizing how much strain it’s putting on my lower back. I’ve tried adjusting my chair and monitor height, but I’m still feeling the discomfort after long sessions.

Recently, I came across the idea of using a small body pillow for extra lumbar support while working at a desk. It seems like it could be a simple and affordable way to improve posture and reduce back tension during long coding sessions.

Has anyone here tried using a small body pillow specifically for back support while coding or working at a desk? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts on how effective it is, how you position it, and if there are specific brands or sizes you’d recommend for desk setups.

Appreciate any insights you can share!

  • Oh man, that lower back pain from long coding sessions is so relatable It's like you get into the zone and suddenly realize you've been hunched over for ages. You're smart to think about your posture those little tweaks to your setup can make a world of difference. That idea about a small body pillow for lumbar support is actually pretty clever It's like giving your lower back a little hug while you're focused on wrestling with code or maybe even setting up a new voip(www.rozper.com/.../) coomunication system.

  • Yeah, I’ve used a small body pillow for lumbar support it actually helps a lot. I just tuck it between my lower Retail reinstatement Singapore back and the chair. Look for one that’s firm but soft, around 20–24" long. No fancy brand needed something from Amazon or Target works fine. Makes long sessions way more comfortable.
