FYI-  LiteSpeed for SQL Server hotfix 8.9.5.252 has different file hash then what is in the release notes.   I think that was the hash from the first hotfix release.

Not sure where to post this so I put it here.

  • Hi Tracy, please can you let me know the file hash / checksum value you have for the latest hotfix, so I can verify the value you have with the developers?

The documented value on the download page is:
    SHA256: 12E9C8E76848DF93080E2EB1B8CAE608CA1E9506750D9400642F5EBF17C9CCFE

If this is different to the value you see, please let me know. I will update the developers in the meantime, so they can double-check and update the documentation as required.

    Many Thanks
    Joe

  • Algorithm : SHA256
    Hash : DFE76D0CA46FBDD13995C37E3F653DB00D331834486EBFC01404CE6547A7FB42
    Path : C:\LiteSpeed\8.9.5.252\LiteSpeed-x64.msi

  • Hi Tracy,
The file hash value that is posted on the website (SHA256: 12E9C8E76848DF93080E2EB1B8CAE608CA1E9506750D9400642F5EBF17C9CCFE) is actually for the .zip file that is downloaded from the website (rather than the installer file), and the value you have above is for the msi installer.

If you check the file hash against the zip file, does it show the same value as documented?
