We plan to restore all archived messages to all mailboxes via the Archive Manager for Exchange console on the Archive Server (Metalogix 6.1) before migrating to Exchange Online.
After selecting the first mailbox (archive size ca 6GB) the restore started properly, but after almost an hour just 25% where done.
Does anyone know if
- this is to be expected,
- there are any tuning options or
- an upgrade to 8.5 will speed up?
