the functionality "Preserve IDs on items/folders in Document Libraries" always turns me off. What should I do in detail so that it is enabled and working?

    The "Preserve IDs on items/folders in Document Libraries" option requires database writing to be enabled. However, direct database writing methods are not supported by Microsoft, and if used will have an impact on your Microsoft warranty.
