Why do I need to activate my license every 30 days?

Every 30 days, Content Matrix starts flooding the event log

We need to do an online renew

We launch

Override the number of WFE servers because of MinRoles

Hi Roger,

Every 30 days the license key has to be re-registered with the Metalogix licensing server in order to maintain the correct information on usage associated with the key.

We never needed to do this on SharePoint 2013. Now that we are on SharePoint 2016 we do. If we forget to do this, your application fills up our event and ULS logs so fast that we run out of disk space. THIS IS NOT GOOD!!! We do the activation "On line" Kind regards, Roger C. This appears to be a bug in the Metalogix license checker. It breaks if you use the MinRole option in SharePoint. Metalogix needs to fix this, Kind regards, Roger Controlled
