update license key problem

I have received a new license key to update an expired existing Content Matrix install.

  1. I enter the new key over the old one --> Failed to activate the license
  2. I try to enter the correct proxy settings --> Failed to update the proxy settings, the underlying connection was closed. Could not establish trust relationship for SSL/TLS secure channel.
  3. I try Offline Activation --> Failed to generate offline activate data: the actual license must be revalidated before applying the new license key
  4. I try Offline Activation before changing the key --> the key generation is successful, but I am told that the license has expired, and I am back where I started.
