Migrating calendar from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2016

When we migrate calendar from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2016, we encounter an issue with the recurrence items, it shows more instances event with no title as it is indicated in the attached file.

When we check the event log we find this error message "Exception: Could not connect to remote SharePoint serve"

What is the best practice to migrate a calendar from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2016?
