We are migrating our intranet and have migrated a few sites using the UI and about 20 test sites using generation PS1. We are finding the version settings are coming over inconsistently. Most have been on the Master Page Gallery causing huge issues but we've noticed some on pages libs. They are also inconsistent run to run on t he same site.
Note: We do a Master Page Gallery migration first followed by an All Site Content migration. We found that unless we do this layouts are not available in the pages libs of migrated sites.

Versions
Example 1 - Master Page Gallery
- Source site had Major versions and Minor versions enabled and Target site had no version.
Example 2 - Master Page Gallery
- Source site had Major versions and Minor versions enabled and Target site had only Minor versions enabled. (See VersioningDiffs attachment)
Note: This is just remigration of the same site noted in Example 1

- Source Site - Only users who can edit items (See DraftItemSecuritySource attachment)
- Target Site - Any user who can read items. (See DraftItemSecurityTarget attachment)
