MIgrating between domains

When migrating to a zero brand new farm (same version, for example SP 2013) in another domain, is it necessary to pay special attention to any details or do we only do a default copy-paste process, in addition to domain mapping?

    Apologies on the late response first off - but depending on what the original source contains it'd be worth doing a type of pre-migration analysis of the site in order to determine of any types of issues prior to migration. I'd recommend following documentation and Knowledge Base articles on how we migrate certain objects within SharePoint. It'd be worth to look into the speciality details of if there consists of Workflows [the types of workflows] if there are of any infopath forms / customized web-parts that are based off a feature would also need to be added into the Target.
