Forum When I send a file from a ControlPoint report to a SharePoint library; can that file be created as the ControlPoint user instead of the ControlPoint service account.

When I send a file from a ControlPoint report to a SharePoint library; can that file be created as the ControlPoint user instead of the ControlPoint service account.

Hi Joe,

Currently, a ControlPoint scheduled report, which is configured to be added to a SharePoint library/list, will be created by the System Account. You may submit a feature request to improve the said behavior. However, it will still be subject for approval.

NOTE: System Account is the ControlPoint service account that is added to each WAP User Policy with the "Account Operates as System" option enabled.

Thanks Cyrus, Unfortunately this prevents an otherwise nice feature of being able to automatically kick off a workflow when a report lands in a library. Per Microsoft’s security update: support.microsoft.com/.../a-declarative-workflow-does-not-start-automatically-after-you-install
