Are there OS and SharePoint Version Concerns when upgrading ControlPoint version 5.2 to 7.5?

Hey Metalogix Support,

I'm looking upgrade my ControlPoint software from version 5.2 to version 7.5. I'm running SharePoint 2013 (15.0.4971.1001) on Windows Server 2012.

I'm hoping you can answer a couple of questions.

1. Am I okay from a version perspective? The guide that was linked below was for upgrading for SharePoint 2007...

2. Do you have after hours support available should I need to call for backup during the upgrade process?

Please let me know!

  • Hello Gabe,

Yes, you can definitely upgrade to 7.5

Just go to the following link and download the installer for -

ControlPoint for SharePoint Administration 2013 Standard 7.5.2642.1

    Link > www.metalogix.com/.../controlpoint

In regards to after hours support for installing and upgrading, that would be a paid service. I would recommend calling your account manager to find out specific quotes but you can also find the information under the "SLA" agreement on the homepage of your Customer Portal account as well.

Here is documentation in regards to upgrading ControlPoint as well which should help.
