Domain controller also a file server. What happens to ACLs when Directory Services is removed?

Hello all-

Collapsing child domains into a single parent domain. About 70 sites, many quite small, that have a Domain Controller on site that doubles as a file server. RUMing the DC for coexistence is straight forward but what happens to the ACLs when I remove AD Domain Services and use the RUM to move the now member server to the target domain? I've never done this in the past so best trying to prepare. Most all systems are Server 2008 R2.

All assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Nothing happens to the ACLs.

If it is the last DC in the domain, some of the ACEs my not be translated into readable entries unless you have migrate the objects to another domain with sidhsitory. Regardless, RUM will process the ACEs/ACLs.
