Issues with migration and users Office 365 applications Error code 80090034

We performed about 8 semi-successful users migrations over the last few weeks and keep running into Office 365 (seen below) it pops up after signing in using 2FA and allowing the organization to trust/manage this device. The error seems to resolve itself within 15 minutes to 30 minutes. I've tried looking at ways to resolve this but there's got to be an easier way to ensure this doesn't keep happening. For the record we are using CCU (VPN) migrations

According to this forum post (https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2215351-office-365-account-setup-tpm-error-80090034), adding registry entry (seen below) doesn't work.:Nor does the VPN fix or almost anything else... have you guys ran into this at all?

  • There is a certificate stored in the local users personal certificate store. It is issued by MS-Organization-Access. The friendly name will be the UPN of the user. This is what Outlook is now using to authenticate. You can try to delete this cert and use Edge to "Sign-in" and sync. You will be prompted to allow the Allow the org to manage your device, click yes and this will download a new cert. This should resolve your issue.
