We are currently in the process of upgrading the Quest Server from a legacy version to the latest operating system. As part of this activity, we are attempting to move the ADLDS (Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services) Database instance to another Forest Domain server. However, we have encountered an issue during this process.
When configuring the ADLDS on the new server for replication, we are encountering an error message that reads: 'The replication credentials are not valid or insufficient. Please provide the credentials of an account that has replication permissions for the specified server.'
We have attempted this configuration using both options currently logged-on server account and a This account, but the issue persists.
Is there anything that can help us resolve this situation? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
