Event log error: HTTP PUT Failed

I have a virtual Smartdisk intance on Windows 2012 R2 Std server. In the Windows log applications, the following error is repeatedly logged: HTTP PUT Failed, in relation to Smartdisk. can someone help me identify how to resolve?

Have you been able to resolve this issue already?
Have you also tried rebooting the SmartDisk VM?
Is/Was SmartDisk failing or unresponsive while it was generating this response?
