Best practice upgrading from 11.4 to 13.0

I'm going to be upgrading from NetVault 11.4 to 13.0

In reviewing the 13.0 release notes, I noted the section regarding potential authentication issues when upgrading from NetVault 12.3.0.15

I also noted that upgrades from 11.4.5 or later are supported when upgrading to 13.0

I had two questions:

1. If I'm at 11.4, what version should I upgrade to first, before going to 13.0?

2. If I'm at 11.4.5, and upgrade to 13.0, would the authentication issues encountered  when upgrading from 12.3.0.15 occur?

    I appreciate your response. I already hit most of the items above, although I haven't watched the NV 9 to 12 video, so I'll take a look at that.

    I did a handful of 9 to 10 and 9 to 11 upgrades in the past (as well as various work on NV 5+), but never can prep too much.
