How to list backup job index via cli?

Sadly there is no way to do this via cli. nvshowindex is to show index saveset details for example ./nvshowindex /usr/netvault/db/MediaDatabase/Files/Backup/0000/00/60

and indexing command is to start indexing manually if needed. Both are intended to use only when support needs to do some internal operations.

I'm sorry for the delay, I was testing REST API to get you a straight answer, but I want to understand exactly what do you need? do you need to list what's inside a saveset (list what has being stored inside a saveset) or you want to list what is selected on a backup selection set?

Basically what I need is a way to view selection sets to check for directory or file paths without the web front end.

Now not sure if the selection set or the index would be best to check for this information. So I wanted to try both. I guess it would depend on how the data is output.

ok, so maybe from the util folder inside NetVault installation folder (from CMD as administrator) you can run the following:

nvreport -class "Selection Sets" -sort "%SELSETNAME"

Unfortunately, from REST API is not available right now but from running a report from CLI will tell you the selection set name and what's included and excluded in that set.
