Self-service Manager : remote ID and archive file

Please I have the question about migration proccess NSF to PST. Can I migrate a few nsf file only with user's id file and the archive NSF under the one user profile? Without the notes profile setting?

Example:

Profile User1

id file : USER2, User3

Archive: user2, user3

I need migration proces under the user1 for user2 and user3 without notes profile setting.. only with archive and ID file and one outlook profile.

We have many users and many archive and I need to start migration from one Server 2016 where the user will migrate archive to pst without the next settings.

  • Hello Ludek,

Thanks for posting to the Migrator for Notes to Exchange (MNE) forum. I understand you have questions about migrating Notes archives with MNE. I am not completely sure I understand what you are looking to do here, but let me do my best to answer your questions.

There are two methods of migrating archives in MNE. You can use the MNE Migration Manager console to perform a centralized migration, or you can use the MNE Self-Service Desktop Migrator (SSDM) tool to perform the archive migration on the end-users workstation.

In order for you to use the SSDM tool, the MNE Migration Manager will need to be completely configured. The MNE Migration Manager does require a "Domino Administrator" ID file with access to the Domino Directory (NAB). Once the MNE Migration Manager is configured, then you can migrate User 2's archive with User 2's ID file using the SSDM tool. You will also be able to migrate User 3's archive with User 3's ID file.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or need any additional clarification.
