Hi,

I am coonfiguring NME and my customer is not allowing to have a Global Admin in O365. To get around, what permissions this account needs to have?

For full functionality a GA is required, there are a lot of administrative tasks the tool needs to/can perform . If the customer is willing to except doing some task manually/scripted and presenting mailbox enabled users with the service account having full control/receive as permissions, the GA is not required.
