PDF file generated is blank

Hi, we're migrating a around 5000 documents from LN to SPO. We are doing a Render with Form approach with PDF files as the output.

Our problem is that some of the PDF files are blank and some are ok. We thought that it was just a problem with certain LN documents. However, when we rerun the job, a different set of PDF files are now blank. The blank ones earlier are no longer blank. It is not consistent as to when it happens. Is there a configuration we're missing?

Hello,

I understand you are experiencing issues rendering Notes records to PDF with Migrator for Notes to SharePoint (MNSP). What exact version of MNSP are you using (Help | About)?

I do recall that there was an issue with blank PDFs a couple of versions ago. You may want to try upgrading to the latest version of MNSP:

Even we are facing same issue when we migrate LN records to SPO doing a Render with From approach with PDF files as the out put. PDF files are coming as blank for some of the LN form types.

Our version of MNSP is 6.9.1.2572.

Hello,

I believe this will require more investigate, could you create a Service Request so an engineer can investigate this further?

When you create this if you could provide a sample NSF that you are experiencing this issue as well as your job file, this will allow the engineer to investigate this more effectively.

We are using the latest version 6.9.1.2572.

1) Are you guys already working on fixing the issue you're getting with the blank PDF?
2) You mentioned some of the LN form types. Is there a specific form type you are referring to?

Hello,
We will create a support request but first we want to know which version of tool is having this blank PDF issue and the reason behind the issue.

And one more question is Notes form button is not migrating to SharePoint PDF. Is this also known issue or any solution for this.

Please suggest.

This was an issue in a previous version of MNSP 6.8.x, but we are not certain on the root cause of this, this is something that only our development team knows.

This is the first time we are hearing about this, but there could be many reasons for this so we recommend creating a service request so that this can be investigated further as all data is different.

Hi Jane,

We believe the issue you are referring to was from an older version of MNSP that is resolved in the version you are currently running, if you are seeing different please submit a Service Request so we can investigate this issue further as you may be experiencing this for a different reason that was not uncovered before and will need more investigating to determine what the issue is.

Could you please answer my second question regarding migrating notes button to SharePoint PDF.

Sorry I had combined my answer into 1 and is was not clear. For your second question regarding the Notes form button is not migrating, this is the first time we are hearing about this, but there could be many reasons for this so we recommend creating a service request so that this can be investigated further as all data is different.
