The KACE team is pleased to announce that KACE Systems Deployment Appliance (K2000) version 5.0 is now generally available to customers!
This release encompasses five of the top requested features from KACE UserVoice, and addresses several of the top service call drivers. This release introduces a Status Overview report, giving IT Admins a quick view into the configuration and health of their environment. SDA 5.0 also simplifies task management by importing SMA Managed Installations into the SDA.
New Feature Highlights
SDA 5.0 adds the following marketable and internal enhancements, including:
- Export/import RSA images to keep image files synchronized across the entire infrastructure
- WIM Manipulation allows files to be added, changed or removed from existing WIM image files
- Import Managed Installations from the Systems Management Appliance
- Status Overview report provides a snapshot view of the settings, configuration, tasks, and other critical components
- Change out the source media for scripted installations without creating a new task
