MessageStats will be added back into the pricebook as of Q2 and we even will be releasing a new version (7.5) which supports Exchange 2016 and Windows Server 2016 in Q2 as well. Unified Communication Analytics 8.5 will be released in Q2 as well. The positioning of the two is very simple so keep this in mind.
- MessageStats is for onpremise Exchange and Skype for Business customers ONLY. Perfect fit for those MessageStats customers that have no plans on migrating to Office 365 for the foreseeable future and/or need pre-migration analysis of their onpremise Exchange environment prior to migrating.
- Unified Communication Analytics is for Office 365, Cisco Unified Communications and Hybrid Exchange customers ONLY. Perfect fit for those customers that have no onpremise Exchange or a majority of their footprint is in Office 365.
Upgrade & Swap program is still in place as eventually, a MessageStats customer will migrate to Office 365 and they will have the need for Unified Communication Analytics but if they don't intend on migrating to Office 365, we can keep them a happy customer by letting them continue to use MessageStats.
We feel this is the best path forward for our customers and I've already had a few meetings where we've discussed this with some of our loyal MessageStats customers and one quote from one of our sales reps who shared this news with their customer.
