Effective February 1st, we’ll be executing our annual list price increases on many Quest and One Identity solutions. We are letting you know about this well in advance so that you can set expectations with customers and provide them with an opportunity to buy at current pricing by placing their order by January 31st.

What’s Changing and When?
List prices will increase between 3-5% for designated products.  Products are listed at the end of this email.  New pricing takes effect February 1st for all license, Pre-Paid Maintenance (PPM), and Renewal SKUs for each impacted product.

Why Are Prices Increasing for Selected Products?  How Do I Explain the Increase to Customers?
The price change reflects our ongoing investments in development and support for our products.  It’s common for software companies to review and update their pricing on an annual basis, and beginning in FY19, Quest adopted this practice as well.

What Do I Need to Do in My Quoting and Selling Practice?
Set license quotes to expire by January 31stFor new license quotes covering the products that will have price increases, please ensure your quotes expire no later than January 31st.   If your customer requests a later expiration date, you can let them know that you’ll issue a revised quote for them on February 1st once new pricing takes effect.

Offer license expansion and PPM for customers looking to realize savings.  The upcoming price increase provides a reason for customers to buy prior to January 31st to cover future needs. Consider encouraging your customers to buy ahead for licenses or invest in multiyear Pre-Paid Maintenance (PPM) at current pricing to realize savings.

How Does This Impact Me as a Partner?
Partner pricing will also increase between 3-5% where the partner price is based on a discount off our list price. Our Products & Pricing team will release preview pricing for our partners 30 days in advance of the February 1st effective date.

What is the Impact to Renewal Quotes I Have Received from Quest or One Identity?
Renewal quotes you have received from Quest or One Identity will be honored through the quote expiration date.

What is the Impact to Non-USD Price Lists?
Effective February 1st, pricing exchange rates will be updated for all currencies, resulting in additional adjustments to all items in non-USD price lists.  While price impact will vary by currency, your actions are the same:  Expire license quotes by January 31st and advise customers to buy license or PPM by January 31st to take advantage of current pricing.
