Rapid Recovery Replication fails Unable to connect to the remote server

This is new software for me and when I was given it, it was already setup.  This one machine has never completed a successful replication.  All the other machines replication is successful.  I am not sure what to check for this error.  Are the replication network settings the same as the transfer settings?  All the transfers this machine does are successful.  This is also an exchange server if that makes a difference.

Thank you

Exception chain:

•A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond
•Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
•The underlying connection was closed: A connection that was expected to be kept alive was closed by the server.

  • Hi ogualtieri79:

Sorry for the delay; I attempted to reply to you but for some reason the reply did not post. The 0x80004005 is a networking error. However, since all your other machines replicate, I suspect that it may be rather a timeout error.

First thing to do would be to force replication only on that agent -- and see how long it takes until it fails If it fails after 5 minutes, please attempt to change the settings shown below.

Please let us know how it goes.
