Agent Issue please help!!!

Hi All,

We are migrating clients from one Domain to another and we have now come to an impass on quite a few of our machines. Nearly 1 in 2 have the issue below. We understand what the issue is we believe it was due to a discovery and installation of agents some time ago using a user ID and password we no longer use.

What we need to do I believe is to uninstall the current Agent and start again? Below is the issue we are finding.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I suppose my question is how do we uninstall an agent.....!

    A Discovery task installs the agent. A Clean up task uninstalls the agent. 

    However I don't think the agent was installed. That log looks like this

    Your error in the log The RPC server is unavailable, could be a few different things.  It could be name resolution. 

    Ping eu-ll-10060, does it resolve to an IP address and reply? If not, add eu-ll-10060 domain to your DNS suffix search order. I will be there is the issue. Your next issue will be eu-ll-10060 trying to resolve GBLLSV18APPS01. It will need GBLLSV18APPS01 dns suffix added to it's search order. 

    Can you map \\eu-ll-10060\c$?

    As Jeff mentioned verify your DNS suffixes.

     

    Are your domain Credentials in order?  I noticed that you are using ckeurope.com\username, it should be ckeurope\username (RUM uses NetBIOS, by default)

    Verify your short and long name resolution, also make sure you can reach the client from the Console and vis versa.

     

    Source DNS suffixes (source.com, target.com)

    Target DNS suffixes (target.com, source.com)

    Enable file and Print

    Disable Windows firewall

    Enable Remote Registry
