RemoteScan works just as well with a network-attached scanner as a USB-attached scanner. To utilize a network-attached scanner, install the network scanner's Twain driver onto the local PC and then select the network scanner's Twain driver in RemoteScan.
Certain network-attached scanners require you show their native interface in order to function properly with RemoteScan.
To show the network-attached scanner's native interface in RemoteScan:
- Right-click on the RemoteScan icon in the system tray to bring up the RemoteScan server menu
- Press and hold the <F2> key on your keyboard while clicking on "Options..."
- Check the checkbox for "Show Native UI" and then click "Save"
