Does an Archive export job supports resume?

The subjects says it all: is it possible to stop a core service, do a reboot, and then be able to resume a long running archive job?

Server is a target core, version 6.1.3.

Thank you.

  • It depends.

If you are doing an archive export, then no. That job either succeeds or you have to start over from the beginning.

Archive import you can cancel and then when you start the import over it will have to review all data in the archive but it will skip any recovery points that have already been imported, so it will be extremely fast until it reaches new data to import.
