6.2.1 Agent Install Fails at Prerequites

It would appear you have a later version installed with SQL Server, installing the update for SQL Server should resolve the issue. Please see the following article.

I have SQL 2016...but i did find via comments in one of the links at bottom of the article...mention of Visual Studio 2017 installs CRT 2017. The version of SQL tools i installed did install a basic version of VS 2017. SO i took the advice of unistalling both x86 and x64 CRT 2017, running the Appassure agent install then reinstalled CRT 2017. Interesting thing i saw was that CRT 2015 showed up in add/remove programs but as soon as i installed CRT 2017, 2015 disappeared from the list. WHile i felt ok unistalling on this server as it is not in production yet, other people may run in to a similar issue where they cant uninstall CRT 2017. And apparently, 2015 wont install if there is a newer version. Quest either needs to fix their installer for the agent or post a tech doc on workaround
