Recovery manager for active directory - Online restore wizard failing with error : 

The specified account cannot be used to perform a restore. Details : the remote procedure call failed and did not execute. 

Let me know steps to fix this issue. 

  • Hi Saumik.   Sorry for the late reply on this - I don't usually peruse this forum.   

    I searched our knowledge base for this error and only found some similar KB articles from much earlier RMAD versions.   If you know the account you specified in the Restore Wizard has the proper permissions to restore objects, and you have rebooted the RMAD server and tried again, then I would open a Service Request at support.quest.com.  I would also check AV or EDR software running on your DC to see if it blocked any operations during recovery.
