I just had a question about a special use case of RMAD. Can Rmad restore an individual GMSA account or only the container OU?

Hello Patrick!

Yes, it can.
Since gMSA account is still an AD object, you can restore it in Recovery Manager for Active Directory either individually or within OUs.
