Hi everyone,
I’m trying to find ways to better manage storage servers, especially when dealing with large amounts of data. I found Quest’s Archive Manager for Files, and it looks like a great tool for storage servers and organizing files. One cool feature is how it automatically archives documents and saves space by keeping only one version of a file, even if it’s saved multiple times. This helps companies save storage space and stay organized.
Has anyone used this tool in big companies? How well does it work with different servers and storage systems? I’ve heard it works with systems like NetApp and EMC—how easy is it to set up?
I’m also curious about how it helps with disaster recovery. Can files be easily restored from storage servers without causing problems for the normal system? Does it help with following strict rules about how long files need to be kept, especially in industries with strict laws?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
