Can I just install RemoteScan on my PC for IX500 to be detected by medical application such as Platomedical that required twain driver?

Hi Quest Team,

I would like to know if i can just install RemoteScan on my PC for IX500 to be detected by medical application such as Platomedical that required twain driver?

I think plato medical is using cloud storage which means their web based application can detected the fujitsu IX500?

    Hello John,

    If Platomedical is Twain-compliant and is running within a Windows Server / Azure environment which is accessed via RDP, Citrix, or VMware, RemoteScan may be used to import images directly from a ScanSnap ix500 to Platomedical. For RemoteScan to work, RemoteScan would need to be installed on both the local PC and on the Windows Server environment where Platomedical is running.
