Batch adding new SQL server for Spotlight monitoring

You can use the Discovery feature of the Connection Manager.

May I have a sample import file with specify monitoring template specified?

See attached for a simple sample file. With this format, the Discover import option creates two SQL connections with their associated Windows connections. The credentials of the SQL connections are defined in the file or you can leave those fields blank if you'd like for Spotlight to use the Diagnostic Server owner account. The Windows connections will be created using the Diagnostic Server owner account.  (Note, Discover feature doesn't import SSAS type connections)
