Auto Generate Approval Emails

Please auto-generate the email approval when an approval is generated if inbound email approvals are turned on. Secondly, please indicate visually within the workflow that an email approval has been sent via some mechanism such as a symbol or point of indication.

    I've got your your point. I created Dev case STAT-4707 Add an option to auto-generate the Email approvals when approvals are generated

      Use Past Due Status Approval Escalation Business Rule. Specify minimum time (15 mins) in Past Due options. In Send To include "Approver, Status Transfer" . That rule will automatically send approval emails within 15 minutes.

        Hey Yuri, if I leveraged the past due business rule so that an approval is scheduled 15 minutes later if one is not created manually is the approval only sent once? Or is the approver spam notified by the past due rule until action is taken?

          It depends how "Check for Past Due Items" is configured in Job Definition . You can configure how frequent the email will be sent there

            But would modifying how "Check for Past Due Items" is configured in the job definition effect the initial generated approval email made by the 'past due business rule?'
