    Dude, how the actual hell did you find this thread? I mean it is already like 9 years of age. How desperate are you? What are you smoking in there? And actually there are still a lot of people using linkedin, maybe not that many as it was back in 2011, but still there are people doing it. Yeah it is true that since it was bought by Microsoft back in 2016, it didn't remain as great as it was actually. However, most of these contests right now are on social networks like facebook and instagam. I have mentioned a lot of pages appearing overnight, havin millions of followers, probably they had to gain instagram popularity. And starting all kind of contests and all that kind of stuff. I guess most of them must be kind of a scam.
