Credentials change for oracle db hangs

Credentials change for Oracle db hangs (until session timeout) on "applying modified settings" when save changes is executed.  (Agent 5.7.5.30)

There is no error or other message/feedback at all.  The credentials are verified on the target.

Is an upgrade or patch required?

    Please take no offence and i am grateful for the screenshots with explanation. I've been working on this off an on and its just got to be done asap. Ticket is submitted. Will be happy to share the fix when it's done.
