Shared dashboard and UTC time zone

Hello all,

Wondering if anyone has run into this before. I have a couple of custom VMware performance dashboards that I share via URL to other teams. When I build the dashboards in Fog light they display the correct time set to our time zone. However when I share the URL's for viewing purposes they display UTC time (we are in the US EST time zone). I've checked all time settings within FL and across the appliance which are using NTP and all appears to be correct.

Any thoughts?

Hi Steve,

How is the URL being shared? Is it using an auth key for a specific user, or just the URL where the recipient needs to login to Foglight?

In either case, the first thing I'd check is for the user (either the one the auth key is based on) or the one logging in, is the Time Zone within Configuration -> User Preferences.

The URL is being shared via an ID that has dashboard and read access. It never dawned on me that the ID would need to have the time zone changed as I assumed time was "global" setting.
