How to migrate from Azure SQL server to Sharepoint Online

Hi Support team,

I would like to know if its possible to migrate a content DB from Azure SQL server to sharepoint online? Please advise.

If a content database is moved from SharePoint On-Premises to a instance of Azure SQL, Content Matrix can connect to the content database in Azure SQL.The content can then be migrated to SPO. Neither ShareGate or SPMT support this connection.

Direct connections to the content database used by SPO is not possible.
