Essentials software crashes when trying to open the gui.

When I try to open the essentials gui software, I get an error and the software shuts down giving this error : An error has occurred. See the log file C:\Users\Backup\Essentials\.metadata\.log.

Is this an known issue ??

Hi Michael,

When you attempt to open the console, are you doing so with elevated permissions such as "admin" or a regular user? Can you please also confirm the version of Essentials that you are currently using?

There is no difference if I start it with elevated permission.
The version I am running is 1.0.5
