January 10, 2020 -  Quest Software Public Sector, Inc. (QSPSI), a subsidiary of Quest Software, today announced the selection of Dr. Barry C. West as its newest member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Government Security Committee of the Board.  Dr. West brings a wealth of both government and industry experience to this new position.

Dr. West is currently the Founder and CEO of West Wing Advisory Services, LLC.  He retired in May 2018 as the Senior Advisor and Senior Accountable Official for Risk Management at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”).  This included spearheading the Cybersecurity Executive Order. In all, Dr. West has over 27 years of previous US Government service experience that includes being the Chief Information Officer at six different US Government agencies or organizations, including: The National Weather Service, Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Department of Commerce, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and serving briefly as the Acting Deputy CIO at DHS headquarters.

Dr. West completed his Executive Doctorate in Business with a focus on Cloud Computing from Georgia State University and is currently the university’s Executive-In-Residence.
