Celebrating 10 Years of Innovation with MessageStats!

Wow! Has it really been 10 years already? We released our initial version of MessageStats way back in 2001. Since then the messaging landscape has changed tremendously with mobile phones, tablets and other devices becoming prevalent and the primary mode of corporate communications for road warriors. Office workers are now used to accessing their work e-mail from home whether via VPN, over the internet using technology such as Outlook Anywhere or web browser applications such as Outlook Web Access. Instant messaging, audio/video conferencing, desktop sharing and the closer integration of voice calls into the messaging environment have also increased in use over the last decade. MessageStats has evolved alongside these changes and now allows you to report against many different technologies that comprise the corporate messaging environment of today from a single console.

So, we here at Quest Software are celebrating 10 Years of Innovation with MessageStats and, via Quest TV, have created a three-part video series that takes a look at the innovation, robust history and bright future of MessageStats:

Evolution of the Messaging Marketplace – A Look Back” - Microsoft Exchange MVP David Sengupta, author and contributor to a number of books about messaging, directories, and systems management provided a historical perspective of the evolution of the messaging marketplace over the last 10 years.

Migrating to New Technologies – The Benefits of MessageStats” - I explain the four steps for planning a successful Exchange migration.

Managing the Messaging Environment – A Real World View” - Quest VP of Global Services Carol Fawcett explains how Quest Software uses MessageStats to optimize Exchange management.

Look out for other exciting developments throughout the year as we march on into our second decade! We've already released a teaser of some new interfaces that we plan to expand on in the near future. As always, we value your feedback - it is you, our customers, who have made MessageStats the comprehensive reporting solution that it is today. Our sincere thank you for all these years together, and now let’s all celebrate!
